Sheila Struiksma, MSW
Individual & Couples Therapy Across Ontario
Helping You Navigate Relationship Challenges, Anxiety, Grief, Trauma & Life's Difficult Seasons
You may be carrying more than most people realize.
Perhaps you're supporting everyone around you while feeling emotionally exhausted yourself. Maybe you're navigating relationship challenges, recurring relationship patterns, grief, anxiety, caregiving responsibilities, trauma, or a season of life that feels overwhelming and uncertain.
When life feels constricted by stress, loss, conflict, self-doubt, or emotional overwhelm, it can be difficult to know how to move forward.
I provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy for individuals and couples across Ontario. Together, we'll create space to better understand your experiences, strengthen your relationships, and develop practical tools that help you move forward with greater confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being.
Repeating the same relationship conflicts and feeling unsure how to change them
Feeling disconnected from your partner despite wanting greater closeness
Anxiety, stress, or emotional overwhelm that feels difficult to manage
Grief and loss that continue to impact your daily life
Caregiver burnout from supporting loved ones while neglecting your own needs
Depression, low motivation, or feeling emotionally stuck
Trauma that continues to affect your relationships, emotions, or sense of safety
Difficulty understanding your emotional reactions or relationship patterns
Major life transitions that have left you feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself
If any of this feels familiar, you're not alone. Therapy can help you create more space for healing, self-understanding, and meaningful change.
You May Be Experiencing…
What it looks like to work with me:
My approach is collaborative, supportive, and client-centered.
I often think about people feeling trapped in a small space — limited by anxiety, grief, relationship conflict, caregiving demands, or uncertainty about what comes next. Therapy can help expand that space.
Together, we'll explore the emotions, experiences, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck while developing practical strategies that support growth, resilience, and lasting change.
My goal is to help you feel more confident navigating difficult emotions, strengthen your relationships, and build a life that feels more aligned with your values and goals.
Clients often appreciate having a space where they feel heard, supported, and gently challenged toward meaningful growth.
