Individual & Couples Therapy Across Ontario

Helping You Understand Yourself, Your Relationships, and the Patterns That Keep You Stuck

Many of my clients are adults in their mid-20s to mid-40s seeking support to better understand themselves in relationships. They are often insightful, self-aware, and psychologically minded, and open to attachment-, somatic-, and neuroscience-informed therapy.

On the outside, they may appear high-functioning and capable, but internally they often experience anxiety, emotional overwhelm, shutdown, or uncertainty in their relationships.

Many notice repeating patterns in dating or partnerships and want to understand why these patterns happen—and how to change them in a meaningful and lasting way.

Therapy offers a space to slow down, explore these patterns, and build healthier, more secure ways of relating to yourself and others.

You May Be Experiencing…

  • Repeating relationship patterns that leave you feeling stuck or unfulfilled

  • Attachment wounds that impact trust, closeness, and emotional safety

  • Anxiety, hypervigilance, or emotional shutdown in relationships

  • Over-giving, caretaking, or resentment toward partners

  • Dating fatigue or patterns with emotionally unavailable partners

  • Shame, self-worth challenges, or identity shaped by past relationships

  • Feeling “too much” in relationships or shutting down when things get close

  • Difficulty understanding your emotional reactions in relationships

Many clients are curious about their attachment style, nervous system responses, and relational dynamics, and are looking for lasting change—not just short-term coping strategies.

Common Relationship Themes I Work With:

Clients often come to therapy experiencing:

  • Repeating relationship patterns that feel hard to break

  • Attachment wounds affecting emotional safety, trust, and intimacy

  • Anxiety, emotional reactivity, or withdrawal in relationships

  • Over-functioning, people-pleasing, or resentment in partnerships

  • Attraction to emotionally unavailable partners

  • Shame, low self-worth, or confusion about identity after relationships

Together, we explore how these patterns developed and how to begin shifting them at both an emotional and relational level.

Client Groups I Work With

Clients come to therapy for a variety of reasons, often at different points of emotional distress, relationship difficulty, or life transition. I work with individuals and couples across Ontario navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, grief, trauma, and self-esteem concerns.

  • Many clients seek support for recurring relationship patterns, attachment difficulties, or challenges in dating and romantic relationships.

This may include anxiety in relationships, emotional withdrawal, difficulty trusting others, over-giving or people-pleasing, or repeated patterns with emotionally unavailable partners.

In therapy, we explore attachment styles, emotional needs, and relational dynamics to support healthier, more secure relationships and improved emotional connection.

  • Clients often come to therapy following a breakup, separation, or significant relationship loss.

This can involve grief, emotional pain, identity shifts, and difficulty understanding what happened in the relationship or why certain patterns keep repeating.

    Therapy provides support to:

    • Process grief and emotional loss

    • Understand relationship patterns and attachment dynamics

    • Rebuild self-esteem and identity

    • Develop emotional stability and clarity moving forward

  • Some clients seek therapy for anxiety, chronic overthinking, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty regulating emotions.

These experiences may show up as rumination, hypervigilance in relationships, shutdown, avoidance, or difficulty feeling grounded.

Therapy focuses on improving emotional regulation, increasing self-awareness, and developing practical coping strategies rooted in CBT, attachment theory, and nervous system-informed approaches.

  • Many clients are navigating the impact of past experiences, including relational trauma, attachment wounds, or long-standing patterns that affect self-worth and confidence.

This may show up as low self-esteem, shame, difficulty trusting oneself, or feeling “stuck” in emotional or relational cycles.

In therapy, we work to process these experiences safely while building self-understanding, emotional resilience, and healthier internal patterns.

  • I also support couples who are experiencing communication difficulties, emotional distance, or recurring conflict patterns.

Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), we work to understand the underlying emotional needs within the relationship, interrupt negative interaction cycles, and build stronger emotional connection and trust.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

My approach is structured, collaborative, and emotionally attuned.

I provide a space where you can slow down and begin to understand the deeper patterns shaping your emotional and relational experiences. Together, we explore thoughts, emotions, attachment dynamics, and nervous system responses in a way that feels both supportive and clarifying.

Clients often find that therapy helps them move from confusion and emotional reactivity toward greater self-understanding, emotional regulation, and relational security.

My goal is to help you develop insight that actually leads to change—not just awareness.
