Individual & Couples Therapy Across Ontario
Helping You Feel More Grounded, Connected, and Confident in Yourself and Your Relationships
You may look like you have everything together on the outside, while internally feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or unsure of yourself.
Maybe you find yourself caught in overthinking, self-doubt, or patterns that are difficult to break. Perhaps you're navigating relationship challenges, grief, cultural or religious expectations, or a life transition that has left you feeling uncertain about what comes next.
Therapy can offer a space to slow down, understand what's happening beneath the surface, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships.
I offer compassionate, collaborative therapy for individuals and couples across Ontario. Together, we'll explore the experiences and patterns that may be keeping you stuck, make space for difficult emotions, and develop practical tools to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and connection.
JUDY BASMAJI, MSW
You May Be Experiencing...
Anxiety, overthinking, or constant worry that feels difficult to quiet
Obsessive thoughts or compulsive behaviours that interfere with daily life
Relationship challenges, recurring conflict, or difficulty feeling understood
Low self-esteem, self-doubt, or a harsh inner critic
Grief, loss, or emotional pain that feels difficult to process
Feeling disconnected from yourself or uncertain about who you are
Cultural, religious, or family expectations that leave you feeling conflicted
Major life transitions that have left you feeling overwhelmed or stuck
If any of this feels familiar, you don't have to figure it out on your own. Therapy can provide a supportive space to understand what you're experiencing, build healthier ways of coping, and create changes that feel meaningful and aligned with who you are.
What It’s Like To Work With Me:
My style as a therapist is warm, collaborative, and curious.
I believe meaningful change begins with feeling truly heard, understood, and supported. Therapy is a space where you can slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and explore the parts of your life that may feel difficult, confusing, or overwhelming.
Together, we'll work to better understand the thoughts, emotions, experiences, and relationship patterns that may be influencing how you feel and respond. We may explore what lies beneath the challenges you're experiencing, build greater awareness of your needs and strengths, and develop new ways of navigating difficult situations.
I believe therapy should be both supportive and meaningful to your everyday life. Our work will be tailored to your individual needs, goals, and pace, drawing from different evidence-informed approaches as appropriate. Some sessions may involve deeper emotional exploration and reflection, while others may focus more on practical strategies, problem-solving, or building skills to support you between sessions.
My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself, feel respected and understood, and gradually develop a stronger sense of confidence, clarity, and connection.
